Todd is a 30-year-old native of upstate New York; a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, he is a veteran who served honorably from 1997-2001 in the United States Marine Corps. He is married and is currently a stay at home father to his and his wife's two children, where he experiences firsthand the difficulties of today's families. Rising fuel, grocery, and energy prices are putting families into situations where they have to make difficult decisions. He understands this, and he will make Congress understand this too.

Todd has never been a member of any political party, he is a true independent. He has never held an elected office nor has he ever before considered seeking elected office. The Partisan air, the hypocrisy, the outright dishonesty and manipulation in government never appealed to him. However he understands that it will only change if the average citizen once again became actively involved in running their government, and the people were shown that their participation in their government is not merely pulling a lever.
